It's rare that we have much free time, but having a month off gave us a chance to play around and find some pretty fun(ny) things Kevin on the world wide wacky web. After seeing a few comments about our site on other forums, like this--"I'm sure that eventually the Ellen interview will be available at kevinmckiddonline.com...." -- we decided to turn the tables. Thanks for keeping the faith; the Ellen interview is indeed up! And that's how we know we've made it--when others spread the word. We get such a kick out of running across our link at other sites that we're returning the favor. Here are a few of our latest favorites:
1. The Owen/Christina fandom at http://community.livejournal.com/in_the_after! We are in awe of all the fanart & fanfic creativity! Especially enjoy the graphic (angelamermaid) below that mirrors our excitement for a new episode. Also visit the Owen Hunt "picspam," an offshoot of the site at http://community.livejournal.com/stolen_garden/2643.html#cutid1
All we can say is "Wow!" And without commercial interruptions....
2. Boston.com's ingenius interpretation of Kevin as Vincent Van Gogh: http://www.boston.com/ae/tv/gallery/2008TVbiopic?pg=4 --We would definitely see that bio-pic!
3. This Lucius Vorenus bust created by Perro Negro Studio at http://www.himesis.com/lucius.html, for those dreaming of a return to Rome.
4. And who doesn't enjoy a little Thor photoshopping, ala http://celebrity.it.msn.com/index.cfm?objectid=34129&imagenr=3
5. Finally, we must give props to all the Scottish extras in Made of Honor and to AelwydAgrona for the Behind the Scenes and Scottish premiere photos, all set to Runrig no less: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qd6WMdGTxOg
Never fear, we'll still be lurking and just might invade your site and report back again soon....
With that said, we finally managed to do a little work, too, and added news and gallery updates. We've got some big plans for 2009, including some potential new site pages, an overhaul to our audio section (now under construction temporarily), and updates to our KMK Online Youtube page as well (look for those videos soon at http://www.youtube.com/user/KMKfanatic).
And that's just the first few months....
PS-- If you sent holiday well-wishes to Kevin via the "Contact Us" tab or through emails to Leanne or me on the message boards, those WERE included with a Christmas gift to Kevin which is still en route. More details to come; we wouldn't want to spoil the surprise.
