Many fans have requested a more regular site chat session. We will, therefore, have one last official chat this Sunday, November 9th, at the regularly scheduled time (GMT 21:00) before we take a break from official chats for the holiday season. However, the fan message boards will remain all-access all the time so you always have a way to interact with the admin team or other members.

In 2009, we will come back with what will most likely be a bi-weekly chat session for our regular visitors/members.  We will sometimes change the dates to weeknights so those that have trouble visiting on the weekends have a chance to chat and get to know other Kevin fans as well. We will provide a fan poll prior to choosing different dates or times so that the majority of voters have their voices/wishes heard.  Those in chat and on the boards will often be the first to know of special contests or new site content, messages from Kevin, etc. We hope to see you there!

We also are continuing the holiday spirit with free ground shipping in our store until November 21st. We want to see you sporting your Kevin gear; post a photo with your Kevin McKidd Online shop item on the Fan Forum and we may show it off on the main site here as well as send you a small token of thanks for your support!

Thanks to Kevin for another update while on location in Bucharest! We got the info from Kevin about this new project before IMDB had any details on the cast and future film!  

While we await Kevin on the big screen, be sure to check out the site, message board and gallery updates. We're still busy making adjustments behind the scenes--still to come are an FAQ page and the News Archives overhaul, which is already in process.

One great new feature now in effect is the Messages~to~Kevin area for those that want to send greetings out to the man himself. This way the "Contact Us" tab can be used more for those needing site assistance or admin-related help while Kevin now has his own easy-access page for perusing comments.  Otherwise, his agency address for fan letters (listed under the Fan Forum section) is still the best "private" option.  As he is presently filming, however, please take into account obvious delays in the mailing process.   

Also thanks to Leanne, our message board Administrator, for all the hard work she has put into the Youtube and Zoopy video snippets. If you have trouble finding a previous Kevin-related film, check these sites for potential extended scenes.   

In the process of doing some remodeling as we continue to provide more information--if you tried visiting the site earlier today, that would explain the error message. We took the site down for a quick maintenance, in order to refresh the multimedia section and check dead links. This will rarely happen, as we'll keep the site published even when updating at this point.  More articles coming as well, including one from Scotland that's especially interesting but still en route, and a more expansive gallery section in store as soon as we find the proper place with enough bandwidth to support it all.

Also thank you to those that have been sending such positive notes or offering advice/asking questions via the contact page--very cool, since we're not linked through any search engine and relying solely on word of mouth for a few weeks until the search sites claim us!

   (Note: If you send photos to be signed, send an envelope with SASE and carboard to protect the photos--basic protocol)

--Revamped the multimedia section, including many more links to trailers with Kevin in the forefront or in an ensemble piece. We've left out official trailers for The Last Legion and Kingdom of Heaven thus far since Kevin appears in them for only a very brief glimpse, if at all.  We just had to throw in Dog Soldiers on today of all days though!

The photo gallery upgrade will come soon. We like to secure allowances from photographers for works/art not already in the mainstream before using their photos at this site, which takes a little more time and involvement. In the meantime, please check out the "Links" section for further sites and sources relevant to Kevin, his projects, his heritage, and/or the art of acting....There is a method to our madness! Mwuhahaha...
