Performed Thursday 4 October & Friday 5 October 1984 at Elgin Town Hall. This was KEVIN McKIDD's first play. He was one of the workhouse boys and Fagin's gang. Kevin was also the understudy of The Artful Dodger and went on in that role for dress rehearsals (the lead had chicken pox) but not opening night. This is when Kevin decide he was going to be an actor. VIDEO courtesy Barry Gault. PROGRAM courtesy Louise Grant. Thank you for sharing and allowing us to post! Best viewed in FULL SCREEN mode. Hogmanay Concert ... Aberdeen Music Hall 31 December 2015 View more concert photos & videos My husband, sister & I were visiting Aberdeen to bring in the New Year and decided at the very last minute to go to the Hogmanay Show at the Music Hall and what a fantastic decision that turned out to be! The entire show was first class and of course very Scottish with contributions from Callum a young Piper, Compete and Singer Robert Lovie, Traditional Scottish Singer Shona Donaldson, a local Ceilidh Band and Paul Anderson and his band The Doric who, as a complete surprise to us, were joined by Kevin McKidd. What a talent Kevin is ... first class actor, director and wonderful musician. His performance of "These Are My Mountains" brought a tear to my eye and had the audience spellbound ... we could have listened all night! What was especially wonderful was that Kevin was enjoying himself so much being back to his roots and having a 'wee session' with his pals - you would never have known he was a huge Hollywood star! Thank you to everyone who made this concert such a memorable one but special thanks to Kevin who made us realise what life is all about and to never to forget your roots! Happy New Year to Kevin and all at Team McKidd. Elaine Marshall / Stirling, Scotland Thank you for sharing with us Elaine! Sounds like a wonderful evening.
