Owen Hunt and Cristina Yang experienced a re-commitment to their relationship as they stepped up to the brink of almost losing it entirely. Learning that their marriage appeared to be a legal liability to both the hospital's attorneys and those hired by the plane crash survivors, they faced the legal dissolution of their marriage as a way to salvage the lawsuit as well as their commitment to each other.
