The set is a little bit old and ruined, but still beautiful.
It's big and magnificent; i visited the "front" part of it, the Foro and Ara, not the backlot (the one
with Lucius Vorenus House..).
When you arrive, you can't expect what you'll find, because before the Rome set, there is the "Gangs of New York" set.
Ah! The magic of cinema!
There are three temples, two squared temples and another circular structure, many columns and statues.
It's like to be in ancient Rome, you can imagine the actors and crew working, and tons of extras screaming.
It's a beautiful emotion to be there when everything is silent, because you can use your imagination.
I worked a little on the colors of my photos, to make them "alive", because the real colors are fading out.
After been on this set I discovered that Kevin McKidd was in this show, so I bought the Rome DVD and watched it
in a weekend
It was strange to see the places I've visited before for real; I think it has to be amazing for an actor working
on sets like this
Hope you'll like the photos
