Colin Mc Murray was a very happy man. He had never thought that Hannah would come back to him, but she had after her marriage to Tom Bailey broke up. While he knew that the divorce had caused Hannah terrible pain Colin still marveled at how he had run into Hannah at his friend Hugh Fraser's gallery. He wanted to look for artwork for his new townhouse and asked Hannah to help him choose it. They had reconnected and started over so easily when Hannah agreed to help him. Every time Colin looked at the paintings in the townhouse he now shared with Hannah he was reminded of how blessed he was that she had not only come back to Scotland, but had consented to become his wife. The four months of their new marriage had been the happiest of
Colin's life. Hannah had brightened Colin's life in so many ways. At Hannah's request Colin was learning to celebrate Halloween in a new way. He turned to face Hannah when he heard her footsteps behind him.
"So you're ready for the fancy dress?" Colin asked Hannah.
"Finally," Hannah said with a bright smile. "Thank you for doing this with me. I was wondering how you celebrate Halloween in Scotland. You make a beautiful Prince Charming."

"I'm glad that you talked me into going," he said. "You are a beautiful Cinderella, too."
Colin and Hannah kissed again and went out.
Hugh Fraser was anxious for Colin and Hannah to arrive at the party. He wanted to see both his dear friends happy. The room was adorned with artwork from his clients, but mostly it was Hannah's that Hugh wanted to highlight. He hoped that his guests would see the paintings and buy some of them, but Hugh really wanted his guests to have fun.
Finally Hannah and Colin came in arm in arm. Everyone who was already there turned and looked at them as they entered the room. Many of the people there were society snobs who wondered what the hell Colin was doing when he took Hannah back after she left him at the altar before. Colin didn't care what the snobs thought. He held her hand and walked proud with Hannah by his side. Colin knew that he and Hannah had both learned a great deal from the mistakes they made in their past relationship and were both very happy. That was all that mattered to Colin and Hannah.
"Thank you so much for hosting this for us, Hugh," Hannah said as she kissed him on the cheek.
"It's no problem, lass," Hugh said. "Just have fun. Enjoy the evening."
"We will, Hugh," Colin said. "Thank you very much."
Then Colin led Hannah out on the dance floor. They smiled, laughed and danced the night away.
Finally Colin looked at his watch and saw that it was 11:45 pm. He smiled a dazzling smile at Hannah
"Are you ready to go home and make more magic?" Colin asked. "I don't want you to turn into a pumpkin at midnight.
Hannah gave Colin a gentle kiss.
"I'm always ready to make magic with you," she said.
