An acting career that started in Elgin and moved on to Hollywood might have gone off the rails at a very early stage, but for five days in Iona.
Actor Kevin McKidd was brought up in Elgin, and has admitted in a recent interview that his formative years in the town saw him go off the rails somewhat.
At 37, Kevin has the life most budding actors dream off, a home in Los Angeles and a leading role in the smash-hit US medical series, Grey’s Anatomy, in which he plays the role of Dr Owen Hunt...
...Kevin recently demonstrated that he has never forgotten his upbringing in Moray, showing support for the campaign to save RAF Lossiemouth.
