TRS: ‘Owen' (Kevin McKidd) happened to be there when she listened to the voicemail, just like he was also there to support 'Amelia' during her weakest moment after 'Derek's death. Watching the relationship between 'Amelia' and 'Owen' evolve this season has been really beautiful, and at times, heartbreaking. What do you think it is about their relationship that allows them to show their vulnerabilities to one another?
Scorsone: I think 'Owen' and 'Amelia' seem to recognize themselves in one another. They've both suffered tremendously in life and yet have devoted themselves toward helping others. They take their minds off of their own pain by healing the people they can heal. I think they see the strength in one another and also the tremendous courage it takes to keep fighting for life when one has encountered death so closely. I think they quietly admire one another. 'Amelia' feels less judged and more like herself with him than she has in a long time.
