Our next book choice is Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris .. Kevin took the part of Petras Kolnas in the Hannibal Rising (2007) movie adaptation of the book (click image left to read a snippet from the book)
Kolnas came into the kitchen carrying his ledger. He opened the firebox of the wood-burning oven, put in some receipts and poked them back into the fire.
