Since we have now been around for a while we thought it was about time to ask you, our Visitors and Members, if there is anything you would like to see added to our website or if there are things that just do not work and perhaps you have a better idea...

Saying that we are aware that our gallery is not currently up and running, but that is due to the fact that the hosting company seems to have closed down as with our Video hosting company so some of our video links are down to, we are currently looking into alternative solutions, so stay tuned.

We would love to hear your ideas and if we are able to incorporate them we certainly will...

RESOLUTION/VIEWING STANDARDS

Website needs built for more middle-of-the-road resolutions. I know you can't account for every variation, browser difference, etc. (who can?) but something like 1000 pixels wide should work for most standards. (That would be similar to a 1024xWhatever resolution, leaving some space for cell spacing, etc.)

Currently the site shows very weird on various computers I view it on. (I've tried different and same resolutions.) Same goes for viewing on iPhone. Sometimes things overlap. Sometimes there is a big blank space at the top of the page under the banner, meaning I have to scroll way down to get to the guts of the page. Sometimes it looks as it should.

If I was not familiar with the site and knew a little about its navigation this would be very distracting and cumbersome.

Sorry unfortunately North Square has not been released on DVD (or any other format)

it is however on 4 on Demand in the UK
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/north-square/4od (but you do need to be in the UK to view that)

HOME PAGE

I think it needs to be short and sweet if it's kept as intro to site. Ideally whole HOME page would not need any scrolling on regular computer screen. (Reduce the larger banner header on every page of site.) Maybe make the HOME PAGE like a welcome letter from Team McKidd and/or Kevin with quick links to the forum and updates in that letter since those are main sections.

A single photo, or maybe 2-3 photos above one another, slightly tilted and to one side, will give enough pop & are only pics needed. Generally, I like balancing text & images side-by-side. Not stacking them like on current ABOUT and NEWS pages. Or do one photo to right with Kevin quote underneath along with welcome letter.

Some places just dispense with a HOME page and make "home" be News/Updates. Something to consider.
